X-ray binaries in the eROSITA all-sky surveys
Frank Haberl

To enhance the samples of known X-ray binaries (XRBs) for population studies and to discover interesting new systems with unique properties, the eROSITA all-sky surveys build an unparalleled data set. Multiple eROSITA scans on different time scales allow to discover new of these often highly variable or transient systems in the Milky Way and nearby galaxies. The Magellanic Clouds, which are well known for their rich populations of high-mass X-ray binaries (HMXBs) are scanned more frequently due to their vicinity to the south-ecliptic pole. A number of new HMXBs has in particular been already discovered in the Large Magellanic Cloud. I'll summarise some of the first contributions of eROSITA to the field of XRBs.
