Echoes from Black Holes and Wormholes

The gravitational wave echoes from compact objects quite prominent nowadays. In this talk, I will report our recent results of this topic. The echoes from asymmetric black bounces/traversable wormholes are investigated. The results show that only wormhole cases can produce echoes in black bounce’s type metric. It is also found that the massive wormholes with smaller charge is easier to observe echo signals in this metric. On the other hand, we study echoes of free massless scalar from dyonic black holes in Einstein-Maxwell gravity extended with the quasi-topological electromagnetic term. We find that for suitable parameters, even for black holes, the effective potential can have double peaks and consequently echoes of quasi-normal modes arise.
